Isn’t it great? Finally Spring is slowly creeping into our lives. Whether Mother Nature wants it or not, Spring IS in the air. I can tell with the contacts I am getting from clients. Youths are distracted, they are crushing on someone, they are worried about their marks because they just can’t concentrate because they want to do what we all did at this time of year….GO OUT AND PLAY!!! Riding your bike with the wind blowing in your hair or just plain walking on pavement and NO snow, wearing shoes and NO more boots and if you do wear boots, that is just a fashion statement but not a necessity.
For the younger children it may be a slight challenge for parents to be able to put them down for the night with the daylight savings change and it just may not be as dark. Patience, things will work out soon enough. Perhpas it is a great time to get out and do things with your young children…your older ones too. Even if it is a bit colder than normal for this time of year, it is so necessary to get out of the house…just a bit more.
Walk to the corner store rather than drive; bike to the park rather than drive and get that skipping rope out and have mom and dad try it out a bit. The kids will have a blast seeing just how great they are compared to their parents!!
There are 2 and a half months left of school for most youths and that is the challenge. Try to set some fun time and organize some work/study time. You may need to keep a strict schedule for the next month or so becuase of the distraction of just wanting to go out and play…but hang in there…
Spring is finally here…!!!
